Police are responding to an incident near a pub in central Shoreham
A man has been arrested after police responded to an incident near a high street pub.
Several police vehicles were parked outside the Crown and Anchor in the middle of Shoreham this afternoon.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Officers were called to a disturbance at an address on Shoreham High Street at around 12.50pm.”
A witness described seeing at least four police cars and a van on the street.
The police spokesman said: “A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of damaging property and obstructing or resisting an officer in the performance of his duty.
“He is currently in custody.”
