Police are urgently searching for two missing 14-year-old girls who ‘could be with adults’.

Savannah and Ruth, both 14, disappeared from Doncaster on Wednesday June 8 and officials believe they have since traveled to Scarborough but fear the teenagers are now accompanied by one or more adults

An urgent police hunt has been launched for two missing 14-year-old girls whom officers fear may be with adults.

Savannah and Ruth were last seen on Wednesday June 8 but the couple have since disappeared from Doncaster, raising fears for their safety.

The two 14-year-olds are believed to have since traveled to Scarborough and officials warned they “could be accompanied by one or more adults”.

Officials also warned the public that they may have been dressed in casual clothes after both were last seen in their school uniforms. live in yorkshire reports.

The emergency services are now desperately looking for the two young girls.

Savannah is white and is described as having a slim build with very long brown hair and a fair complexion.

She was last seen in a school uniform and a padded coat with fur on the hood. According to the North Yorkshire Police (NYP), she is said to have been wearing a black backpack with gold zippers.

Ruth is also white and is described as 5ft 4in tall, of slim build with dark shoulder length hair. She was also last seen in a school uniform with dark tights and a padded jacket.

A spokesman for the force said: “We continue to search the Scarborough area for missing teenagers, Savannah and Ruth, both aged 14, who went missing in Doncaster on Wednesday (June 8).

“It is believed they have since traveled to Scarborough and may be accompanied by one or more adults.

“Officials are increasingly concerned for the well-being of Savannah and Ruth and want to speak to anyone who has seen them or knows their whereabouts.”

People who think they have seen the teens have been urged to call 101, with the public being urged to call 999 if they “have an immediate sighting”. The reference number to quote is 12220100077.
