Police officers were blown up for confiscating the two-year-old’s toy quad bike and taking it away on the TOW TRUCK in case it was supposed to “mow someone down”.

A POLICE squad was blown up for confiscating a two-year-old’s toy quad bike and taking it away in a TOW TRUCK.
The red motor toy that two children were playing with has been confiscated by police if it ‘mowed someone down’ in Stoke-on-Trent.
Police loaded the miniature quad onto a tow truck – in dramatic scenes that were described as “ridiculous”.
Two children, aged two and six, were caught playing with the engine when police impounded it under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
The toy vehicle was impounded Thursday, April 21, following the incident on the nearby greenway at Tunstall Park.
But locals say the police need to “get a grip” after the ridiculous stunt.

One outraged viewer, Ian Swift, said: “Are you having fun? I saw these at Tunstall on this quad and it was barely going faster than I can walk.
“Staffordshire Police need to get their act together instead of making themselves a joke.”
Stoke on Trent Live reported that another person added, “You could have just said, ‘Sorry, this isn’t allowed here, please take it home, but here’s a list of places you can use it.’
“Ridiculous if you ask me.”

A third person, Mark Cooper, said: “A complete joke. There are no words for that. I bet the police were very pleased.”
And Lawrence Stones added: “Rather than take away their pride and joy, go find real criminals. A waste of taxpayer money.”
Some viewers agreed with the police’s bizarre actions, saying the quads could be dangerous and harm other children.
WHEELIE STUPID
Police said they are contacting schools to try to trace other children involved in the “incident”.
Officials didn’t say if the children were supervised by an adult while they played on the toy quad bikes.
PCSO Michelle Chadwick said: “Following calls regarding off-road bikes on the Greenway near Tunstall Park, officers have impounded a quad under Section 165 of the Highway Code.
“The bike was being ridden by a two-year-old and a six-year-old at the time.
“Relevant authorities have also been informed and further investigations are underway at local schools to identify others involved in the incident.”
Anyone with information about the incident should call the police on 101.
