Police patrol Hove beach amid anti-social behaviour

Officials have increased their presence in and around St Aubyns in Hove.

“Following reports of anti-social behavior in the area, our officers conducted some targeted foot patrols in the St Aubyns South area,” a police spokesman said.

“We are pleased to report that all was peaceful and fine when we attended.

“We will continue to patrol the area and keep an eye on things, but please get in touch with us if you become aware of any anti-social behavior or have any information.

“You can report online, by calling 101 or by calling 999. Please remember that our social media channels are not monitored 24/7.”

Last week police also increased their foot patrols in and around Linden Park in Littlehampton.

Meanwhile, Brighton and Hove Police were patrolling the rock gardens of Preston Park following complaints of anti-social behaviour.

“A youth was in the wrong place for her but at the right time for us – her cannabis was confiscated,” a police spokesman said.
