Police release CCTV images after railway cables were stolen in Pease Pottage

OFFICIALS investigating a £40,000 railway cable theft have released images linked to the incident.

It is believed that around 8pm on June 19, three men tried to cover up surveillance cameras in a railway area in Pease Pottage before stealing a large quantity of wire.

A UK Transport Police spokesman said: “Officials believe the men in the CCTV images may have information that could aid their investigation.

“If you recognize them or have any information, please contact BTP by SMS on 61016 or by phone on 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 80 of 25/07/22.
