Police review traffic footage as search continues for missing Alabama woman Carlee Russell

Police are concerned as the search continues for a 25-year-old woman who went missing Thursday on an Alabama freeway Viewing of traffic recordings to try to uncover details about her disappearance.

Russell went missing Thursday night on his way from work. At 9:34 p.m., she pulled over on the freeway to call 911 after reportedly seeing an infant walking by the side of the road.

After calling 911, she called the child and then informed a family member of the situation. Upon arrival, police found Russell’s vehicle and some of her belongings, including her phone, but she and the child were not there, police said press release.

For over 48 hours, police and other law enforcement agencies have been trying to locate Russell, who has not been seen or heard from since Thursday. during one press conference on Friday, Hoover Police Department Lt. Daniel Lowe said the department has received many leads and is dispatching investigators to investigate.
