Capcom has been like this with its top franchises over the past few years monster hunter, resident Eviland street fighter raised the money for the publisher, leading to its ninth straight year of operating revenue growth for fiscal 2022.

Capcom has been trying to “revive” past franchises for several years, and a leak in 2020 suggested new Final Fight, Power Stone, Mega Man, and Dragon’s Dogma games could be in the works. During a recent Q&A session (thanks, VGC), Capcom was asked what its plans are for its more dormant IP, with the publisher stating, “We are currently making plans for our pipeline based on on-demand data from the market together. We will continue to take our customers’ wishes into account when developing our range of titles in the future.”

While the quote itself is hardly confirmation that we’ll see a revival of Capcom’s more dormant franchises anytime soon, it still begs the question: Which Capcom series would you most like to see if it makes a glorious return?

We’ve rounded up some of the Capcom franchises that are currently MIA in the survey below. Make your voice heard and choose which comeback you would most like to see!

As a brief caveat, we are aware of that Darkstalker coming to Switch via the Capcom Fighting Collection and that we saw a remaster of Onimusha: Warlords on Switch in 2019, but we’re talking about new, original sequels to those franchises. And yes, we know Breath of Fire had a mobile game in 2016, but… let’s have this, okay?

When you’re done voting, let us know in the comments if you’d like us to look at another major publisher and see what dormant franchises could potentially be revived! Poll: Which dormant Capcom franchise would you like to see return?
