Obi-Wan Kenobi: Ewan McGregor to star in Star Wars trailer

Obi-Wan Kenobi ended up skipping Disney Plus – and while you might recognize lead actor Ewan McGregor, viewers are still stunned to see yet another familiar face on the show.

The first two episodes of the Star Wars live series premiered on the streaming service this week, as fans race to see McGregor return as his Obi-Wan.

However, it was the sudden appearance of an unexpected pop star that really shocked some audiences back home.

Flea of ​​the Red Hot Chili Peppers appeared in the Disney Plus series, where he took on the role of Vect Nokru.

Vect is a sinister bounty hunter who leads a trio of baddies to Alderaan on a mission to kidnap 10-year-old princess Leia Organa.

When the first two episodes were aired on the streaming service, fans were surprised to see the famous musician on their screens.

On Twitter, one person said: “No way I just saw Flea in Obi Wan.”

While a second added: “I watched the first episode of @obiwankenobi last night and I was so tired, it took me 5 minutes to find out it was a Flea. I was like, ‘That guy’s constant’. I feel like an idiot lol. ”

Another viewer tweeted: “The love that Flea is in Obi Wan.”

The 59-year-old Australian-born musician is no stranger to the acting world, having appeared in Baby Driver, Boy Erased and Toy Story 4.

Flea, whose real name is Michael Peter Balzary, also voiced Donnie Thornberry in Nickelodeon’s The Wild Thornberrys series from 1998 to 2004.

He was one of the original members of the rock band Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Flea appeared in the bang along with lead vocalist Anthony Kiedis, drummer Chad Smith and guitarist John Frusciante.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time a famous bass player has entered the Star Wars universe.
