Popular pork products sold in Morrisons and Ocado recalled due to salmonella concerns
The affected items are manufactured by Fresher Foods Ltd, with recalled brands including Openshaws, Pub Original, AwfulPosh and Snaffling Pig included in the notice.

More than 30 scratched pork products have been remember for the fears they may contain salmonella.
The presence of salmonella bacteria can cause fever, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps.
The affected items are made by Fresher Foods Ltd, whose brands have been recalled include Openshaws, Pub Original, AwlyPosh and Snaffling Pig.
You can see the full list of Fresh Food items that have been remember in the list below. A total of 34 different items are included.
If you purchased one of these products, Fresher Foods recommends that you return it to the place you purchased it for a refund. You won’t need a receipt to get your money back.
A statement on its website reads: “All Freshers Foods products undergo rigorous food safety and quality testing as part of our manufacturing process.
“We apologize to our customers for any inconvenience this has caused. Thank you for your understanding.”

This is the second recall from the company this month, as just a few weeks ago the company issued a warning about its Snaffling Pig Perfectly Salted Pork Scratchings.
That recall is for 45g pack size scraped pork and is best before June 11, 2022.

Fresher Foods products are sold in Morrisons, Waitrose, Ocado and Amazon, as well as other stores.

Other foods that have been pulled from shelves this month over concerns they may contain salmonella include Abbott’s infant formula powder and Dogs Choice UK frozen live dog food.
