Powerhouse Opel Grandland – with 300 hp – due at the end of the year

OPEL’s plug-in electric hybrid 225 hp 2WD version of the Grandland SUV is due in early summer.

And what looks like a real powerhouse with a 300 hp AWD version follows later. That’s a lot of power.

The brand’s pricing and specs for the new Grandland range were announced recently, but somehow they went under the radar for me. Sorry, I’ll fix it now.

The new crossover costs from the factory from 35,495 euros.

At the moment there is a choice of a 1.2 liter petrol with 130 hp and 6 speeds, a 1.2 liter petrol with 130 hp and 8 speeds and a 1.5 liter diesel with 130 hp and 8 aisles.

Standard equipment includes LED pixel lighting, active emergency braking, cruise control, active lane departure warning, driver attention alert, hill start assist, dual-zone air conditioning, DAB radio, Apple Car Play and Android Auto, 7-inch touchscreen, 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, rain-sensitive windshield , front and rear parking sensors and reversing camera.
