Real-life Hollyoaks couple announce pregnancy in a sweet post

Pregnant Hollyaoks star Nadine Mulkerrin made fans think she gave birth prematurely with a sweet Instagram snap of a newborn.

The soap lover shared a snap of her three-year-old son Reggie with a baby, saying: “A weekend meet up with Beau Blue.”

Many fans automatically concluded that Nadine had given birth, and a string of congratulatory messages flooded her feed.

Nadine, who hasn’t reached May, later shared a snap on Instagram stories that read ‘cousin love’ and clearly showed her bump.

Nadine shared her own pregnancy announcement with an adorable picture of little Reggie sitting in front of a small Christmas tree, legs outstretched to review the results of her antenatal checkup.

Nadine captioned the photo on her page: “‘Better this isn’t mom’s only present’,” along with a heart emoji.

Rory shared a similar photo alongside one of Nadine showing off her baby bump as she stood next to the Christmas tree.

The couple have been together since 2017 and they announced their engagement in December 2018.

Their characters – Joel and Cleo – married themselves on Hollyoaks, and Rory followed through on his proposal a few months later.
