Pregnant Lucy Mecklenburgh has her second scan when she’s a week past her due date

Lucy Mecklenburgh is expecting her second child with partner Ryan Thomas and is informing fans after she passed her due date.

Pregnant Lucy Mecklenburgh has updated her social media followers on the arrival of baby number two after her second scan.

The former TOWIE star is about to welcome her second child with partner Ryan Thomas, but is a week past her due date.

It’s understandable that the family are eagerly awaiting the arrival of two-year-old sibling Roman and Lucy, 30, sharing that she went to her second sweep on Wednesday to try to go into labor naturally.

The basic exam is where a midwife sweeps their finger around a woman’s cervix during an internal exam to try to separate the membrane of the amniotic sac that surrounds the baby from the cervix and potentially begin labor.

However, Lucy admitted that the second attempt was much more uncomfortable than the first, adding to her Story that it wasn’t “pleasant”.

To make up for it, she treated herself to a cake and favorite drink.

The reality TV star had her first scan two days earlier, which didn’t seem so upsetting.

Again taking to social media, she wrote at the time: “Actually the scan didn’t hurt at all! It’s totally fine!

“I think it’s worse from memory. Let’s hope it [sic] give the girl a little nudge x”

Lucy and Ryan are always busy with Roman boy during construction until they first arrive.

Over the weekend, Lucy and her son had a “cooking” day Lucy shared a sweet video of the couple on her Instagram.

Next to the clip, she wrote: “Mother and son’s cooking day!! Its [sic] it’s actually my due date today eekkk and i’m preparing some snacks to get ready for the long nights ahead r [sic] Super simple and can be kept in the freezer.

“* tip – when cooking with a toddler, I like to get most of the ingredients out and ready to go, then it’s not chaotic or messy haha ​​but it’s still fun! !”

Lucy and Ryan were set to get married but they revealed in November they had postponed their plans due to her pregnancy.

A source told New magazine at the time: “Lucy wasn’t too bothered about wedding plans but wanted to get back in shape after her second child was born.”

The pair have been together since meeting on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls in 2017.
