Prepare for the Hogwarts legacy with new launch trailer

Hogwarts Legacy is finally coming out next week, after multiple delays that pushed back the original 2021 release date to 2023. And you can prepare for the game’s release with a new gameplay launch trailer released today by developer Avalanche Software.

The trailer contains approximately two and a half minutes of new footage of Hogwarts Legacy, including a mix of in-game and gameplay cinematics. We see Hogsmeade, professors, students and of course a lot of Hogwarts.

“Hogwarts Legacy invites players to embark on an epic journey as a fifth year student at Hogwarts, endowed with a rare ability to harness ancient, powerful magic,” reads a press release. “Guided by the Wizard’s Field Guide and unique directions from professors and other characters, fans will discover a compelling story filled with exciting challenges and mysteries.”

Hogwarts Legacy will be released on February 10th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC and April 4th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Switch version of the game will be released on July 25th.
