She appeared in Boston Magistrates Court today for the first time on the charges.

The mother of two has been released on bail until a guilty plea at Lincoln Crown Court in late February.

Mold has been accused of causing a gray horse named Bruse to suffer needlessly.

She faces a second charge of failing to take reasonable steps to protect the foal from pain, injury or injury.

Molds, who is well known in the equestrian community, attended the Cottesmore Hunt meetup on 6 November last year in the countryside known as “The Drift” in Gunby, Lincolnshire.

In the footage, a white horse flees from the back of a cart before it is stopped by a young rider.

A woman wearing cream shorts and a navy jacket then grabbed the animal’s reins before kicking it and slapping it repeatedly as it tried to pull away.

Mold lives with her plumber husband Daniel and children in the village of Somerby, Leicestershire, where she worked as a teacher.

But she lost her job last month after she was initially suspended following outrage.

Speaking about the decision to fire the teacher, Paul Maddox, CEO of the Mowbray Education Trust said: “I can confirm that Sarah Molds’ employment with the Trust has been terminated.

“As Trust, we are committed to ensuring the best standard of education for all of our young people, and we look forward to continuing to maintain this throughout the 2021/22 school year and beyond. again.”

Mrs. Molds also served as director of Knossington and Somerby Kindergarten before being expelled.

It is understood she also lost her role to the local branch of the Pony Club.

After anti-hunting vandals released the clip, she received death threats and was forced to hide with her family.
