The Duke of York – who has now lost his royal and military titles – is battling a sexual abuse case filed by Virginia Roberts Giuffre after a judge in New York has ruled, it will continue.

She alleges she was forced to have sex with Andrew three times when she was 17 – a claim the 61-year-old has always strongly denied.

Andrew will now face his trial as an “ordinary citizen.”

And following the sexual assault case, Prince Andrew could lose his security forces and armed bodyguards 24 hours a day, as he is “not a working royal.”

Andrews is expected to lose all three security guards in June 2020 following a Home Office cost-cutting review – but clung to them after the Queen intervened.

His thinkers were once said to cost £100,000 a year in wages, flights, perks and hotels.

Prince William was said to have been a key figure in the judgment that stripped Andrew of his titles – and helped his grandmother realize his position as “the grave of death”.

This comes later The Sun revealed that the Duke of York slept with furniture and stuffed toys during his marriage.

The prince made strict demands on his cuddly collectibles to bed as a single man after they divorced in 1996.

Sarah then moved into Andrew’s room 31 Royal Lodge Villa in Windsor Great Park.

And we also reveal that the Queen had to order childish Andrew to back down during a strange argument with Charles – over a tiara.

The Duke of York, then 39, refused to remove toiletries from his brother’s bathroom.

He only relented after intervention from his mother at Sandringham, a former housekeeper has revealed, with royal staff leaving surprises at the pews.

Former Buckingham Palace maid Janette McGowan unmasked Andrew’s childish tantrum on Christmas 1999 – when he was 39 years old.

She said family staff were alerted to an “ongoing situation” after the Duke of York went to the wrong bathroom.

He later refused to move his toiletries when told it had been reserved for his brother and future king Charles, who was 51 years old at the time.

Janette, who visited the Sandringham estate in Norfolk with the Royal Family, told The Sun: “We were told not to move anything and not to touch anything in that bathroom because there was a ‘current situation’.”

But she did tell how things were ultimately resolved when the Queen had words with Andrew while Charles patiently waited for a resolution.
