Prince Andrew should be probed by Buckingham Palace over the same bullying claims as Meghan Markle, says former royal officer

REASON Andrew should be investigated by Buckingham Palace over claims he bullied Palace staff – just as Meghan Markle, a former royal police officer has said.

The palace launched a probe last year amid claims the Duchess of Sussex bullied two senior staff members while she was a senior royal – a claim she strongly denies.

Allegation that Prince Andrew has bullied Palace staff should be investigated further - as they happened with Meghan Markle, a former royal police officer has said.

The Duke of York faced similar charges this week, when former royal aides spoke out about their unpleasant experiences working for him.

Paul Page, who worked in the Royal Guard Command from 1998 to 2004, alleges that he personally complained to palace officials on three separate occasions.

And he claims he knows of “at least a dozen” other reports made by colleagues, Mirror report.

Mr Page, whose revelations this week have sparked a flurry of complaints about the prince, told the publication: “Buckingham Palace launched an investigation into Meghan’s bullying behavior last year after the She is accused of misconduct.

“If it is a fair organization that takes care of its employees, then an investigation should be initiated to confirm whether Andrew is guilty of bullying and intimidation of employees.”

The former royal officer claims his complaints against Andrew were ignored during his service as senior courtiers did not want to create disturbance.

The former cop told an ITV documentary this week Andrew will “Scream and scream” if the maid messes up his toy bear collection on his bed.

It prompted the duke’s former maid Charlotte Briggs, 47, to continue with other notable stories.

She declared Andrew made her run up four stairs to close the curtains – even though he was sitting right next to them.

She also said The duke laughed as his dog bit her leg and brought her to tears with his “claim and right” denigration.

If that wasn’t enough, the pampered prince allegedly made employees sort through his huge collection of teddy bears for an hour a day to make sure they were sized in order every morning.

And he was supposed to scream and scream if his bears are not put back in the correct order.

Regarding the complaints, Mr Page added: “It’s very well known in the palace, but no investigation has been conducted by the royal family.”

Andrew, 61 years old, is stripped him of his royal patronage last week and asked to stop using his HRH title in the face of allegations that he sexually assaulted one of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex slaves Virginia Giuffre when she was 17 – something he has always vehemently denied. .

Meghan Markle has also vehemently denied the allegations of bullying, and a spokesperson for the duchess previously said she was the victim of a “calculated smear campaign”.

Paul Page lost his job when he was convicted of investment fraud worth £3 million in 2009.

Buckingham Palace and a spokesman for Prince Andrew declined to comment.
