Prince Andrew slept with dozens of teddy bears in bed with Fergie at their wedding

The Duke of York even slept with duvets and stuffed toys during his marriage, The Sun can reveal.

Andrew covers the bed he shares Sarah Ferguson at Buckingham Palace with the bears.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward reveals how she and Sarah burst into laughter after she mistook her stuffed animal collection for Fergie’s childhood memorabilia.

Ingrid describes how she visited Fergie at the Palace while writing a biography in 1990.

“She just let me into their bedroom and there were about a dozen teddy bears on the bed of the marriage,” she recalls.

“I said to her, ‘Oh Fergie, you still haven’t got your old pants, have you?

“And she said, ‘No, it’s all Andrew’.'” We found it very funny and rolled around in laughter.

Sarah, 62, and Andrew, 61, have daughters, princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, they are left with giant pack horses, but then broke up.

The prince made strict demands on his cuddly collectibles to bed as a single man after they divorced in 1996.

Sarah then moved into Andrew’s room 31 Royal Lodge Villa in Windsor Great Park.
