Royals fans swooned over Prince George on social media after he was seen at Twickenham Stadium with his parents during England’s Six Nations match against Wales on Saturday

Will and Kate arrive with Prince George for the Six Nations match

Prince George stole the show on Saturday afternoon when he made a rare public appearance alongside his parents.

The eight-year-old, third in line to the throne, was in Twickenham to watch England play Wales in the Six Nations.

His father Prince William attended as patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, while his mother Catherine was there as patron of the Rugby League.

Royals fans have swooned over the young prince on social media and commented on the uncanny resemblance to his late grandmother Princess Diana.

“Can’t we be alone in saying we see Princess Diana here? Prince George is seriously starting to look like his grandma,” one fan wrote.

Another said: “How can Prince George have such a clear and tall jaw? Wasn’t he just a baby yesterday? ”

One fan said: “Our little prince is not little anymore.”

His mother’s team eventually took the lead, as they staged a second-half comeback from Wales to win 23-19 over a half-doubted crowd.

The future king and queen arrived at the stadium just hours after they made a rare political statement, to show support for Ukrainians who are fighting against Russian invaders.

In a statement posted on Twitter, they said: “In October 2020, we had the honor of meeting with President Zelenskyy and the First Lady to learn about their hopes and optimism for the future of the United States. Ukraine.

“Today we stand with the President and the entire Ukrainian people as they bravely fight for that future.”

The Queen recently granted Kate patronage of the RFU and Rugby League, roles previously held by the Duke of Sussex before he stepped down from royal duties in 2020.
