Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “exuded confidence” in their most recent public appearance at the Invictus Games, a body language expert claims.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex showed their bond is stronger than ever as they greeted fans and competitors in The Hague, Holland today.

Body language expert Judi James suggested the pair are happy to be serving a cause again – two years after stepping down as senior royals.

She said, “Harry’s expression says it all here.

“His emphatic wink and head tilt while he smiles suggests a return to the cause and people he loves, while his handheld self-clamping suggests a small amount of trepidation and humility for a while during that first public appearance.” “

Ms James added that Harry is playing around with his wedding ring, suggesting he appreciates his wife’s support.

Meanwhile, Meghan, who donned a £3,200 white Valentino suit, seemed touched by the support she received at the event.

Mrs Jacob said MailOnline : “‘Meghan’s white pantsuit may be more sophisticated than the ripped jeans and boyfriend shirt she wore at the time, but her hand-on-heart gesture signals a desire to show the public and their enduring love.”

She added that Meghan also showed a “gesture of submission” by raising her hand up.

The couple, who were holding hands, were at a special reception for Invictus competitors in The Hague this afternoon.

They walked a yellow carpet to honor the Games’ branding before entering a huge marquee to meet participants and their families, as well as city guides and Dutch Ministry of Defense officials.

Earlier, the pair met Ukraine’s Invictus team ahead of the games’ opening ceremony tomorrow night.

Harry was pictured being handed a calendar by one of the people at reception, while Meghan was seen smiling in the background.

Ukrainian Oleg Karpenko tweeted about meeting the prince and said: “Look who is here with us, the prince himself with a calendar.

“The Invictus Games Ukraine team will soon start winning their medals in these competitions. Proud.”

As they made their way to the events, which took place back-to-back at the same venue, they erupted in cheers and applause.

It was revealed earlier this week that Meghan would be accompanying her husband to the Invictus Games in The Hague, with their trip being filmed by cameras for a Netflix documentary.

It is the first time they have traveled together outside of the US since leaving the UK and moving to California in early 2020.

Her appearance at the reception today comes after it emerged that she had secretly visited the Queen and Charles on a layover trip to the UK yesterday.
