Prince William modernizing royal family is ‘about survival’ as it begins to reflect tour

Royal editor Russell Myers spoke to Lorraine Kelly on Monday morning about the recent royal tour and said the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge must ‘move with the times’

Lorraine Kelly is keen to discuss reports that Prince William has plans to modernize the royal family when she hosts her gig on Monday morning.

Lorraine, 62, invited The Mirror’s Royal Editor Russell Myers to the ITV breakfast show to chat about Kate and William’s recent tour of the Caribbean.

The TV presenter began by saying, “So it’s really no surprise, there’s a big breakdown on this, right? I expect a lot of heated encounters.

Russell replied: “Yes, I think the investigation has begun.
