Princess Charlotte threatens Prince Louis with her fist during the pageant

Prince Louis appeared to meet his match with his sister Charlotte, who took no nonsense as she forced him to behave in hilarious footage during the platinum anniversary celebrations.

The Cambridge’s youngest child won the hearts of many royal fans with his antics, especially on the balcony of Buckingham Palace after Trooping the Color.

He elicited a smile from the Queen, who enjoyed the four-year-old’s cheeky portrayal as he disregarded the typical airs and graces.

Louis was seen pulling a series of funny faces while covering his ears during the RAF flyover and then rubbing his eyes and looking utterly bored on other occasions.

He also got into trouble with his mother Kate, trying to get her to stop talking by putting his hand over her mouth before sticking his tongue out at her.

Louis was then out and about, sitting not only on his father’s knee but also on his grandfather Prince Charles’ lap during the final official ceremony of the weekend.

Louis’ parents got some help keeping him under control during the celebrations from his seven-year-old sister Charlotte – and she wasn’t afraid to show her older brother George, eight, how to behave, either.

Hilarious footage shows the princess taking matters into her own hands with Louis during last Sunday’s platinum competition.

Louis seemed to stir things up as he bit his fist and threw it in the air.

The Duchess of Cambridge initially appeared to gently place her hand on the prince to reassure him.

But when the four-year-old continued unabated, Charlotte decided to intervene, taking Louis’ hand tightly and resting it on his lap.

Charlotte also helped his mother during the same event by trying to get him to sit back down when he jumped up during the same event.

The Princess then stepped in to tell her older brother George to behave at the end of the pageant.

Members of the royal family sang the national anthem “God save the Queen” on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

And when the eight-year-old put his hand on the edge of the balcony, Charlotte nudged him and told him to stand up.

Louis was also mentioned by William and Catherine as they thanked everyone who turned up for the long weekend of celebrations to mark the Queen’s 70th reign.

They said, “We all had an incredible time, especially Louis…”

In a personal message, along with pictures of the weekend’s events, they tweeted: “What a fantastic weekend of celebrations.

“It was very special to see people across the country coming together with family, friends and loved ones. Thank you to everyone who has shown their gratitude to the Queen and her inspiring 70 year leadership. From the crowds on the Mall to communities hosting street parties across the country, we hope you had a weekend to remember.”
