Princess Charlotte and Mia Tindall were among the young royals at today’s Prince Philip memorial service – and they had a sweet moment together as they left the event

Some of the youngest members of the royal family paid tribute to their late great-grandfather Prince Philip at his funeral service today.
These included the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as well as Zara and Mike Tindall’s eldest daughter, Mia Tindall.
And when the service in honor of Philip’s life was over, Charlotte and Mia were seen enjoying a sweet moment together as they spotted each other at the abbey.
As Charlotte left the service alongside her parents William and Kate, Zara could be seen showing the young princess to Mia, who was sitting next to her.
And as they passed each other, Mia gave her younger relatives a mighty wave as they exited the service.
Charlotte, Mia and their siblings have all been pictured together at events in the past, with Prince William apparently having a close relationship with his cousin Zara.
However, it wasn’t the only sweet moment Charlotte had at the ceremony today – she was also spotted smiling at her father’s cousin Princess Beatrice, who was seated behind the Cambridge family at the Abbey.

As Charlotte looked around the huge building while the congregation sang a song, Beatrice caught the young princess’s eye.
The couple then exchanged sweet smiles before rejoining in the anthem.
The young royals were led to the service by the Queen, who arrived arm-in-arm with her son Prince Andrew at Westminster Abbey to pay her last respects to her beloved husband Prince Philip, although she feared she would not be able to attend for health reasons.
Clad in a dark green cloak, the Queen used a walking stick as she took her seat in the front row of the crowded Abbey alongside Prince Charles and Camilla.
The Queen only made the final decision to attend this morning and special arrangements have been made for her comfort.
The service was limited to 40 minutes and the monarch sat in one of the Canada chairs but with an extra cushion.
Among the other royals were the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children, Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn.
Other attendees included the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, Peter Phillips and his daughters Savannah and Isla.
Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, the Duke of Kent and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester made up the rest of the royal attendees.
