Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are now splitting their time between London and a luxury resort in Portugal after moving away from the UK with their one-year-old son August.

The royal family member has moved to the exclusive CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club in south Lisbon after her husband landed a new job with real estate magnate Mike Meldman – who is friends with George Clooney.

Jack, whom Eugenie married in 2018, has built a successful career in the hospitality industry. He will reportedly be responsible for the marketing and promotion of the private resort in Portugal which is currently being developed with 300 properties.

During their stay in the UK, the family of three, who used Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor estate – the home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the UK – will be staying at Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace.

Despite being part of the family, Princess Eugenie and her sister Beatrice do not work as members of the royal family. That means they both have full-time jobs to support themselves.

Eugenie, who attended the University of Newcastle and has a degree in English Literature and Art History, has always been passionate about art.

In 2013 she moved to New York and worked for online auction site Paddle8. After two years she returned to London and now works as Associate Director at the Hauser & Wirth art gallery.

In addition to her own income, her marriage to Jack – brand manager for the Casamigos tequila formerly co-owned by Mr Meldman, George Clooney and Cindy Crawford’s husband Randy Gerber – has also contributed to her overall wealth.

In addition to sharing wealth with her husband, Eugenie also reportedly benefits from a trust fund set up by the Queen Mother for all of her great-grandchildren.

Another Queen’s trust fund set up following Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s divorce is believed to benefit Eugenie and her sister.

Meanwhile, Andrew’s website states that he “financially supports his two daughters from his personal income.” However, it’s unclear if he still supports his daughters after stepping down from royal life.
