Professor Layton and the New World of Steam announced for Switch
Professor Layton is making a comeback in a new adventure for Switch. The next chapter in his saga, entitled “Professor Layton and the New World of Steam”, will be released on a date to be determined.
A short teaser trailer shows the professor trotting through an industrial setting. We don’t know what secret he will solve or what allies will help us, but it’s good to see the good lord again.
Professor Layton’s last title in which he starred was 2014’s The Azaran Legacy. In 2017, a spin-off starring Layton’s daughter called Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy was released for 3DS and ported to Switch in 2019.
