Smyths Toys will receive the PS5 recovery this morning.
The retailer’s rollback will focus on the PS5 Disc Edition (https://bit.ly/3yLE81p) and is scheduled to take place TODAY (Thursday, February 17, 2022) at around 9am GMT.
Customers can pre-order, both online and in-store, after stocks run out.
This will only be a restore of the Disc Edition console and no Digital Editions are available for pre-order, as far as Stock Checker knows.

Tips for waiting in drop GAME
It is important to say first that once you are in the queue, DO NOT refresh the queue. The queue is doing all the refreshing for you in the background, go live. Stay tuned as there are a lot of users who miss out due to being taken out of the queue time.
Use guest checkout, instead of using your GAME account. There is a user-facing issue that some GAME customers have encountered, where the user is somehow unable to purchase certain products while logged in.
If you are concerned about how many GAME points you can earn, you can contact their customer care and prove that you have purchased the PS5. Once you’ve done that, they’ll add your bonus points to the GAME account you have. -
GAMES Shipment
Stock Checker can confirm that “If you choose our Preferred Covered shipping method (details are on the product page), your order will be shipped by February 22nd. All Orders with other shipping methods will be shipped by February 25th. ”
This shows the stock drop on February 18 around 9am – 11:30am.
After the drop goes live, this will be further justified, as the date on the package page will also be updated to 25/02/22 instead of the current 18/02/22.
