Puzzle & Dragons Switch update adds new control settings to “better support left-handers”

It’s always nice when games can provide updates that bring the experience to even more players, and the latest title to do so is Puzzles & Dragons Nintendo Switch Edition.

After arriving on the platform last month, GungHo Online Entertainment has released the update to version 1.02 – with a controller option “intended to better support left-handers”. This update also includes various other important updates and the usual bug fixes.

Here’s the full synopsis:

1. Control settings can now be changed during single battles!

2. Added PvP mode button controls bonus!
Players who use button controls solely to move orbs and activate abilities etc. will receive a 20,000 point bonus on the results screen.

3. Changed the size of LL-size monsters in Custom Mode to 70%!
Revised LL monster size to 70%, allowing them to be included in battles alongside S or M size monsters.

4. Monster placement controls in Custom Mode have been revamped!
Placing monsters in the battle edit screen has been made more intuitive.

5. Added handedness support (left/right)!
The Control Options menu now includes puzzle control settings intended to better support left-handed users.

6. Added bug fixes and various improvements.
