Mike Tindall – who is married to Zara Phillips – has praised the Queen, saying she is “officially a qualified actress now” after “nailing” her Paddington Bear sketch
The Queen “nailed” her Paddington Bear sketch and showed off her great sense of humor, Mike Tindall said.
Mike, 43, who is married to the Queen’s eldest granddaughter Zara Phillips, praised the 96-year-old monarch for her comedic timing at the Platinum Jubilee.
Speaking on The Good Bad & The Rugby podcast, he said: “She’s officially a qualified actress now – that was probably for the best part.
“The drones were pretty good, to be fair, but then this [Paddington sketch] was badass. She was all in. I always said she was funny, but she nailed it.”
His eldest children Mia, eight, and Lena, three, stayed up for the “Party at the Palace” concert, but he also addressed four-year-old Prince Louis’ antics during Sunday’s two-and-a-half-hour platinum competition.
Mike was seen playfully interacting with the troubled boy, who was making funny faces, standing in his seat and later hopping on his grandfather Prince Charles’ knee during the special parade.
He said: “Louis just wanted to have fun. But there was a lot of candy back there, so they were totally high on sugar.”
