Prime Minister Robert Troy has declined to answer a number of questions about his property interests and business dealings since controversy surfaced over his statements.
A few questions remain:
How much income does he receive from Westmeath County Council under the Rental Accommodation Scheme (RAS)?
Did the minister have RAS deals with the council when he called for the program to receive more government funding during the Dáil debates?
Why was the minister seeking details of the number of people taking advantage of the RAS and other housing schemes in his constituency earlier this year, amid parliamentary inquiries?
Does the Minister think it appropriate for an elected representative to request additional funding for a scheme from which he is earning an income?
Regardless, does he have a family or friendship relationship with the person to whom he rented a room under the government’s rent-a-room scheme?
The minister said he had sold a garden adjacent to a property he owned on Rathdown Road in Dublin. Does this relate to the development currently being built next to the property?
Is Mr Troy involved in the development of Rathdown Road?
Planning files showed that he had submitted a letter to Dublin City Council stating that he was part-owner of the land to be developed. Is it still like that?
