Rachel Zegler Reportedly Presenting at Oscars After Rejecting Invitation

Rachel Zegler was reportedly invited to present at this year’s Oscars after the actress revealed she wasn’t invited to the 94th annual awards ceremony.
The West Side Story star will now join the ranks of famous faces set to take the stage at Sunday’s ceremony, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
It comes after Zegler shocked fans after replying to a comment on Instagram asking what she would be wearing to Sunday’s ceremony.
“I’m not invited so my boyfriend’s sweatpants and flannel,” she wrote.
The 20-year-old actress said she hoped “a last-minute miracle” would happen so she could celebrate the seven-Oscar-nominated film in person.
News of her snub caused outrage on social media, including from Russ Tamblyn, a member of the original 1961 West Side Story cast.
Tamblyn, who played Riff, said the Oscars organizers had a “duty” to get Rachel Zegler a place and urged her to “prove her right.”
Hollywood star Alec Baldwin also tweeted that he would buy the actress two tickets to the show.

She is currently filming in London for her next big role in Disney’s Snow White.
The film West received seven nominations at this year’s Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actress, Best Cinematography and Best Sound.
