Adele Roberts revealed that she had been told that bowel cancer had been growing inside her for 10 years.

The radio host, 42 years old, announced that she was diagnosed with the condition on social media last year, with her having to undergo treatment in recent months.

This has included surgery to remove the tumor and, more recently, chemotherapy, with Oldest brother alum has been open about her experience since her diagnosis.

Adele wrote in a post on Instagram yesterday that her cancer had progressed for a decade and said that her decision to change her “poor diet” several years ago helped her recovery, as reported byDaily mail.

The I’m a celebrity the star told her 172,000 followers: “I was told it took about 10 years for my bowel cancer to develop.”

Adele admits that she “didn’t start getting healthier” until around 2016, when she did a documentary for Radio 1. She said: “Before that I was on a strict diet and was obese. clinically.”

The station’s DJ says the “main message” she wants to get across is that people should “take care” of themselves, encouraging them to “try and have balance in your life.”

She concluded her recent post on social media: “I truly believe my new lifestyle choices have helped me quickly recover from surgery and cope with chemotherapy.”

The broadcaster is said to have experienced a weight loss regimen circa 2017, with her giving up sugar. She lost two stone at the time of making I’m a Celebrity in 2019.

Adele – Big Brother’s housemate in 2002 – talked about her cancer diagnosis on Good morning England a few weeks ago, in which she provided an update.

She was joined by partner Kate Holderness, 37, on ITV displayed and said that the news had come as a “shock.” However, she said that doctors managed to remove the tumor.

The radio presenter – who has a temporary tumor – said she was on chemotherapy, saying: “I get it [that] when my little snipers get rid of anything that might be left. “

And she added in the interview: “Hopefully by the middle of this year, I’ll be back to normal and back to my old self.”
