A helicopter was forced to land after an incident during a flyby on Memorial Sunday.
An RAF Chinook helicopter took part in a series of flybys over southern England to recognize the service and sacrifice of those who died in combat.
However, it was later discovered in a field near Arundel after an incident happened on the ground.
The crew provided assistance before the plane left the area.
An RAF spokeswoman said: “A Royal Airforce Chinook helicopter conducted a series of flypast flights to commemorate Remembrance Sunday in southern England.
“During the operation, an incident occurred on the ground. The helicopter landed and the crew rendered assistance.
“An investigation is ongoing and we are unable to comment further at this time.”
