Rag ‘n’ Bone Man is expected to delight Albert Square residents when he makes a surprise appearance at the festival in EastEnders.
He’s an award-winning singer who is a huge fan of the TV series, and was persuaded by Rocky to organize a special performance and raise money for charity.
Despite lingering tensions ahead of Janine and Mick’s wedding, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man delivers much-needed Christmas cheer with a performance just for the couple.
Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, real name Rory Charles Graham, described his cameo as “one of the best days of my life”.
“In the words of Gabrielle ‘dreams can come true’. Thank you to everyone at EastEnders for one of the best days of my life,” he said.
Chris Clenshaw, executive producer of EastEnders said, “We’ve always known Rag ‘n’ Bone man to be an avid EastEnders fan.
“So when the opportunity came up in one of our stories, it was the perfect time for us to ask him to not only appear but perform in Albert Square.
“We are all delighted that he has agreed and we hope the audience enjoys the special Christmas party, just as everyone at EastEnders enjoyed having Rag ‘n’ Bone Man in Walford. “
This episode with Rag ‘n’ Bone Man will air on Friday 23 December on BBC One and iPlayer.
