Rail services between Brighton and Cambridge have been suspended after a person was hit by a train

PASSENGERS are delayed this afternoon after a person was hit by a train.

Trains between Brighton and Cambridge have been suspended following the incident between Finsbury Park and Welwyn Garden City.

According to Thameslink, other services are seeing massive disruptions.

A spokesman said: “It is with great sadness that we report that a person has been hit by a train traveling between Finsbury Park and Welwyn Garden City.

“The emergency services are taking care of the incident.”

Trains that normally run between Horsham and Peterborough now run between Horsham and London Bridge and between Peterborough and Stevenage.
