Random: Um, why did Square Enix upload the Final Fantasy 9 trailer?

Final Fantasy IX, the game that the father of Final Fantasy franchise Hironobu Sakaguchi called His hobby, launched on Switch. It came out in 2019. It even had an actual release back in 2020.
So why, oh why did Square Enix decide to re-upload the game’s trailer on its Japanese YouTube account?
The series is already gearing up for its 35th anniversary, and Square Enix has said that its new anniversary website “will support new releases, information sharing on upcoming titles and merchandise.” , but this upload seems to come at a random time, regardless.
The upload was noticed on Reddit, with one user claiming it was likely to advertise a new physical release (it’s actually a piece of code out of the box, hrmph):
Also, we already know that Final Fantasy IX is getting an animated show, which should have been in production earlier this year. And there have been rumors of a remake of this classic for a while. Final Fantasy VII is not required all of love, right? for us anything elseSquare Enix.
We figured, until we hear more, we’ll have to do with playing Vivi and Steiner in Chocobo GP. Or listen to the soundtrack over and over, thanks to Square Enix’s new music channel.
