Rapper Snootie Wild left to ‘fight for life’ after being shot in the neck

Snootie Wild was found with a gunshot wound and his SUV in a ditch after police were alerted by the Shotstopper Program, it was reported.

Snootie Wild is said to be “fighting for his life” after he was shot in the neck, according to reports in the US.
The 36-year-old rapper, born in Memphis, Tennessee, was found in his SUV, under a ditch in Houston, Texas on Friday.
In a post on his social media, it is confirmed that the rapper did not die in the incident but is being treated at the hospital.
ABC13 reported that a statement on Snootie’s social media read: “Snootie is not DIE! But he is fighting for his life.
“Out of respect for the family, please refrain from sharing anything that is not communicated through his official accounts. Thank you.”
It is reported that police rushed to the scene after they were alerted by the Shotspotter Program that a shot had been fired.

The rapper is believed to have been given CPR at the scene before being taken to the hospital, authorities revealed.
Officer R. Willkens said of the incident: “It looks like he accidentally backed into it (the ditch). Then another car sped up and everyone got out of the car.
“They were talking for a bit, and all of a sudden, gunshots went off. There was actually only one shot.”
Snootie, whose real name is LePreston Porter, has been treated by doctors at the hospital with a 50/50 chance of survival.
The incident was caught on camera by a neighbor, who was helping investigators answer their questions.
The rapper known for his hit single ‘Yayo’ which features Yo Gotti and the police are looking for a man and a woman they believe are prime suspects.
