It’s September which means we’re getting back to school and our routines. It’s the perfect time to start embracing the healthier habits you’ve been wanting, by making them a part of your day now that summer is behind us.
This week I bring you my top tips for resetting. From exercise to diet, I’ll walk you through it all.
Summer can mess up our normal routines. There’s more food, more relaxation and this year we’ve been able to go abroad, which for many people was the first time in a few years.
While we’ve all enjoyed the great weather over the past few months, it can make some people feel guilty that they aren’t as healthy as they might have wished. This brings me to my #1 tip and I think the best place to start if you are looking for a reset.
Drawing a line in the sand and accepting that we can’t change what we’ve done is a must if you want to develop new habits. Life is for living and being hard on yourself will get you nowhere. So accept that you’ve enjoyed your summer, but decide that now is the time to get out of vacation mode and into September mode.
I also discuss how to get your diet back on track. There is no need to go on fad diets or juice cleanses. Instead, make sure you’re eating regularly and keeping your blood sugar nice and stable.
