Aymeric Laporte has taken to Twitter to show off his war wound from the draw at Southampton.

  • Exclusive – Everton name price for Calvert-Lewin

West Ham want Everton’s England hit man Dominic Calvert-Lewin – but it will cost them a staggering £60MILLION.

Hammers chief David Moyes has been alerted that Calvert-Lewin could be available as the Toffees try to claw back cash after years of over-spending.

Moyes would really push the boat out for Calvert-Lewin and has new money at the club to back him in a major bid.

But the valuation is currently so high that West Ham will not take the plunge. However if that changes this month or in the summer they will be pushing to the head of the queue.

The Hammers would pay a premium just now or offer a bonus if Calvert Lewin shot them into the Champions League.

But Everton need to drop their ‘top line’ to make it happen.

The Merseyside club have also considered selling England keeper Jordan Pickford but are now in talks with him about extending and increasing his contract.

  • Exclusive – Cherries chasing Andy Carroll

Bournemouth are lining up a late move for Andy Carroll if he leaves Reading after the striker scored twice in eight games on a short-term deal with the Royals.

But his contract ran out last week and the promotion-chasing Cherries are keen to have Carroll as an option for the rest of the season.

Bournemouth can offer more money in wages than Reading – who are under transfer restrictions.

And they could also tempt the former Newcastle and Liverpool star with a promotion bonus.

Carroll, 33, has also been linked with Premier League strugglers Burnley but Clarets chief Shaun Dyche is yet to commit himself.

Bournemouth boss Scott Parker originally wanted Kieffer Moore from Championship rivals Cardiff.

But the Wales international’s price tag is high and Carroll would be an ideal alternative.

  • Real Madrid ready to rival for Bellingham

Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly set to rival Manchester United and Liverpool for the signing of Jude Bellingham.

The 18-year-old has impressed for Borussia Dortmund this season, and also caught the eye in England’s run to the final of Euro 2020.

Man Utd and Liverpool have previously been linked with an £80m move, and now Real are ready to enter the race, according to Marca.

Toni Kross and Luka Modric are in the twilight stages of their careers, with the club now planning for the future.

Youngster Eduardo Camavinga was recruited by Los Blancos in the summer, with eyes now on a move for the ex-Birmingham City man.

  • Former Gunner linked with Burnley

Burnley want to take Aaron Ramsey on loan for the rest of the season.

The former Arsenal midfielder is keen to return to the Premier League after his failed switch to Juventus.

And the Clarets have been in talks over a temporary switch in the last few weeks.

Sean Dyche’s strugglers would be able to pay nowhere near Ramsey’s reported £400k-a-week wages.

But Ramsey, 31, may still consider the move after an initial rejection – with Juventus desperate to get him off their books.

  • Exclusive – Tottenham target Toby Savin

Tottenham have set their sights on young Accrington keeper Toby Savin as a potential future No 1.

The London giants are in the market for a top prospect to groom for the first team and have been sending spies to watch 20-year-old Savin.

The former Everton youth made his League One debut last season but has won the race for the jersey in this campaign and is growing up rapidly.

Southampton were reportedly tracking the Southport-born starlet early in the last campaign.

    And the 6′ 4″ stopper signed a three-year contract in 2020.

Spurs’ interest in Savin comes a day after current first-choice Hugo Lloris added two years to his own deal, keeping him with Antonio Conte’s squad until 2024.

  • Oscar in Barcelona talks

Former Chelsea ace Oscar is thought to be continuing discussions with Barcelona over a potential transfer, according to reports.

Brazilan news outlets claim the ex-Blue insists negotiations ‘are not over yet’ with the Catalan club reportedly waiting on player departures.

The former Stamford Bridge midfielder, 30, currently plies his trade in the Chinese Super League following his £60million move to Shanghai Port.

Oscar is reported to have told Brazilian news site TNT Sports of Barcelona’s interest in bringing him to the Nou Camp.

The midfielder said: “’I was told about this interest, I guess they’re still trying to figure something out.

“Barca has this issue about registering new signings and they’d still need to sort talks with my club.’

“From what I’m told, talks with Barcelona are not over yet. The problem is that they’re struggling to register signings… there has to be some departures from Barca.”

  • Chelsea in Jonathan David ‘enquiry’

European Champions Chelsea have reportedly made an ‘enquiry’ for the services of Lille striker Jonathan David.

The 21-year-old forward has been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent weeks.

But now it’s the Gunners’ London rivals who are plotting a potential swoop, according to Canadian outlet TSN.

Both Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner are struggling for goals as of late.

David is expected to leave Lille at the end of the season, and has attracted plenty of attention, with Chelsea the latest to register their interest.

  • Arteta in line for new deal

Reports suggest Mikel Arteta is set to be offered a new two-year contract by Arsenal.

The Mail claim the Spaniard has impressed chiefs at the club and will be rewarded with a new deal.

An extension is expected to be tabled before the end of the campaign, before his current deal enters its final 12 months.

Bosses at the club have been impressed by his management, but are also wary of interest from Manchester City.

Rumours have emerged that City are lining up Arteta to replace Pep Guardiola, when the latter decides to call time on his spell at the Etihad.

  • Full time on the South Coast

The final whistle has gone at St.Mary’s as Southampton hold Manchester City to a 1-1 draw.

Aymeric Laporte equalised for the league leaders in the second half, following Kyle Walker-Peters’ excellent opener.

City are still TWELVE points clear at the top of the table, but have played two games more than Liverpool.

Pep Guardiola and Co are still firm favourites to secure back-to-back titles, but this result does offer a glimmer of hope to the chasing pack.

  • Arsenal closing in on Arthur

Reports in Italy suggest Arsenal are ‘close’ to announcing the loan signing of Juventus midfielder.

According to Tuttosport, the Gunners have given in and accepted an 18-month loan deal for the Brazilian.

Arsenal are claimed to have just wanted a short-term six month deal, while Juve favoured a longer loan.

And now that’s been agreed, reports suggest negotiations are now ongoing between Arthur’s representatives and Arsenal officials.

  • Exclusive – Toon lead Tarkowski chase

Newcastle’s hopes of landing James Tarkowski are rising as their two main rivals back off.

Eddie Howe wants the powerful Burnley centre-half to join his survival fight and will make an offer that tempts the Clarets to let him follow Chris Wood to the Toon.

Burnley are willing to take a bid and the Geordies are the only horse in the race as West Ham are now looking elsewhere, while Leicester focus on a short-term loan solution.

But Clarets fans, and manager Sean Dyche, might be unhappy to see another of their bigger names slip away.

  • Bowen ‘ticks boxes’ for Liverpool

Jarrod Bowen would be a perfect replacement for Mo Salah, according to Tony Cascarino.

Salah is out of contract in 2023, and yet to pen a new deal with the Reds.

It’s seen Jurgen Klopp and Co linked with Bowen, who Cascarino sees as a ready-made replacement for the Egyptian.

Cascarino said on talkSPORT: “Well, the lad Bowen at West Ham ticks all those boxes because he’s tenacious, he chases everything and is decent technically, but not extraordinary.

“I keep thinking who would fit into that Liverpool frontline?

“Because Klopp loves those kinds of players in wide areas, who will chase and hassle players and will do the ugly things for their team, and will always get chances.”

  • Rice fuels Man Utd speculation

Despite being on the losing team, Declan Rice put in another impressive performance for West Ham at Old Trafford today.

Manchester United are one of a number of teams linked with the England star, who has added fuel to the fire with his post match comments.

The 23-year-old admitted he was ‘loving’ playing at Old Trafford, as he does every time he takes to the field at the Theatre of Dreams.

Speaking after the game, Rice said: “I was loving it. Every time I come to Old Trafford, I’ve always said it’s one of my favourite places to play. It’s an amazing stadium.”

  • Half time at St.Mary’s

The half time score on the South Coast is Southampton 1-0 Manchester City.

It’s just the third time Pep Guardiola’s side have been trailing at the break this season.

The Saints have been impressive so far, but can they keep it up for the entire 90 minutes?

  • Hazard not heading anywhere

Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly poured cold water on speculation linking Eden Hazard with a possible Chelsea return this month.

It’s claimed the Real Madrid boss sees the Belgium winger remaining in Spain with the LaLiga leaders.

Football expert Fabrizio Romano took to Twitter to share the Madrid boss’s reflections.

The Bernabeu chief is said to have confirmed Hazard is in Real Madrid’s ‘plans for next season’.

Romano claims the Italy-born coach has no intention of allowing the star to leave in the January transfer window.

Hazard has been linked with a potential Stamford Bridge return, or a switch to Tyneside, with Eddie Howe’s Newcastle thought to be keen.

  • Juve reportedly lodge Vlahovic bid

Arsenal’s hopes of landing Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic have plunged again amid claims Juventus have bid £50milion for the striker.

The Gunners are reportedly willing to make Vlahovic their second-highest paid player but it’s thought he wants to Juve.

It’s understood Juventus have taken a dramatic step forward with their first major offer for the 21-year-old.

And the Italians are said to be strong favourites to recruit Vlahovic now, ahead of Arsenal.

  • Betting probe into Arsenal booking

A bookmaker reportedly flagged a £310,000 bet on an Arsenal player being given a yellow card in a game earlier this season.

The FA are looking into suspicious betting patterns, with another £55,000 in-play bet also coming under scrutiny.

The player did end up being booked, but his identity has not been revealed.

Now The Athletic is reporting that one bookie flagged the huge £310,000 wager ‘to the international betting watchdog over manipulation concerns’.

The FA said: “The FA is aware of the matter in question and is looking into it.”

The governing body are only looking into the matter at present and it is yet to become a full blown investigation.

  • City currently trailing at Southampton

In what is a turn up for the books, Manchester City are LOSING on the South Coast.

A delightful goal from Kyle Walker-Peters has given Southampton the lead against the champions.

The former Tottenham expertly took the ball down in the box and fired into the back of the net with the outside of his boot.

  • Full time in Brentford

The final whistle has finally gone in the game between Brentford and Wolves.

And it’s the visitors who emerge with all three points, winning the game 2-1.

Adama Traore saw a late goal disallowed for offside, but it didn’t matter in the end.

Bruno Lage’s side are just FOUR points off the Champions League places, and enjoying a brilliant season.

Brentford meanwhile have lost four on the bounce, conceding 12 goals in the process.

To make matters worse, Thomas Frank was sent off after the final whistle for something he said to referee Peter Bankes.

  • Eriksen in training at Ajax

Christian Eriksen has been training with Ajax reserves as he gears up a return to football.

According to De Telegraaf, Ajax’s kids “marvelled” at Eriksen’s sharpness and skills.

The Dutch newspaper revealed he received treatment at Fysiomed in Amsterdam before asking his old club if he could practice for a day.

Ajax readily agreed and he was put under the wing of reserves boss John Heitinga, the former Everton, Fulham, Ajax and Holland centre-back.

It’s understood Eriksen was in touch with Ajax superstars Daley Blind, Davy Klaassen and Dusan Tadic.

Brentford and Leicester have both been linked with moves for the 29-year-old playmaker.

  • Hutchinson urges Liverpool to sign Dembele

Ousmane Dembele is out of contract at Barcelona at the end of the season, and expected to leave the club this month.

Arsenal are one of a number of teams to be linked with the Frenchman, although former pro Don Hutchinson doesn’t reckon the Gunners should move for the winger.

Instead believes Liverpool would be the perfect fit for the winger.

Speaking on the BBC Radio Five Live Football Daily Podcast, Hutchinson said: “If I was Liverpool I would [go for Dembele], if I was Arsenal I’m thinking I could get more out of Pepe, they’re two similar players.

“The trouble with Dembele is that he’s not been fit enough at Barca, he’s a wonderful talent, he certainly was at Dortmund.

“If Arsenal threw their money at Dembele I think it would be a risk, but if Liverpool did it he’d be a squad player who’d have to fight for his position.”

  • Scores on the doors

Newcastle have registered their first away win of the season, and are now just one point off safety!

What a huge win that is for Eddie Howe, against fellow strugglers Leeds.

Manchester United also earned three points in dramatic fashion, thanks to a 93rd winner from Marcus Rashford.

Those are two full time scores, while the earlier delay at Brentford means that game is still being played.

Ivan Toney has just levelled things up for the hosts, with that one currently 1-1 with just under 20 minutes to go.

  • Aston Villa targeting another transfer

Steven Gerrard has already sealed moves for Philippe Coutinho and Lucas Digne this window, but it seems like he’s not done yet.

The 24-year-old is attracting interest from the West Midlands, although the Serie A side are not thought to be willing to sanction his departure.

Elsewhere transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports Boubacar Kamara is another midfielder on Gerrard’s wish-list.

The Marseille man has also previously been linked with Manchester United.

  • Gunners not giving up on Vlahovic

Reports have emerged in recent days that Dusan Vlahovic already has an agreement in place to join Juventus.

Fiorentina are said to be willing to negotiate with the Gunners, but the player’s agents are stopping negotiations from going ahead.

However, The Athletic’s David Ornstein has revealed that Arsenal will not ‘turn their back’ on a potential move.

Ornstein told his YouTube followers: It’s a really delicate situation, with quite a few days in the window left to go, I don’t think it’s one that Arsenal are going to turn their back on.

“It’s one which Arsenal will need to lean on their ownership for support with but we saw that with Thomas Partey, for example.

“But when you speak to people around the game, the sort of numbers being touted for Vlahovic are not ridiculous for a player in that position. I find it quite fascinating that Arsenal are prepared to mix it in that market.” Real Madrid want £80million Bellingham, Erling Haaland LATEST, Lingard to Newcastle UPDATE
