Rebel Wilson mocked her recent weight loss on stage at the BAFTAs on Sunday night.
The Australian star, 42, has lost more than 5.5 stone in recent years, previously saying her body transformation has made her feel “a lot healthier”.
Kicking things off as a host at BAFTAs 2022, the Bridesmaids actress sarcastically revealed her health push two years ago.
“Everybody’s like, why are you losing weight? Well, it was obviously to get Robert Pattinson’s attention,” Rebel joked to the celebrity audience.
“Just kidding, guys. Seriously. I’m not losing weight just for one guy. Like! I’m doing it to get more roles.”
She joked, adding: “Boy, I’m so excited right now. I could be playing love without humor in an Adam Sandler movie.”
Ahead of Sunday’s awards ceremony, Rebel poked fun at her much talked about weight loss when talking about her current assignment, adding that she was “honored” to be given the gig. .
“It’s going to be fun! I don’t want to put any pressure on this – I know I won’t be funny because I’m not fat anymore,” she said.

Speaking on the Life Uncut podcast in January of this year, Rebel said she was “normal size” when she was younger, but in her 20s gained weight after being diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome).
The Pitch Perfect star also revealed that her size was one of the factors that led her to pursue a career as a comedian.
She says that most comedians “usually have something unusual about their physicality” – that’s why they choose comedy.
“Those people tend to do better comedies,” she said, “so I turned what was turned into multiple agents as a disadvantage to my advantage.”
Rebel has always been careful to explain her health as the reason she went through the transformation, and says she had a wake-up call after seeing a doctor about her fertility.
During the appointment, the doctor frankly informed the comic that if she wanted to improve her chances of becoming a mother, the best route was to lose weight.
Reflecting on the conversation that prompted her to gradually reduce the amount of calories she consumes along with starting a HIIT workout, she says, “As I look at and consider fertility issues, the doctor said, ‘Well, you have a much better chance if you’re healthier’.
During the honest Instagram live stream, Rebel continued: “I’m actually a bit offended. I think even though I’m older, I’m still pretty healthy. So that’s where it started – that if I were to If I lose some extra pounds, it will give me a better chance of freezing my eggs and having better quality eggs.”
“Initially, it’s not even for myself, it’s thinking about a future me and their qualities.”
