Candy lovers rejoice because the perfect job – Chief Candy Officer – awaits them at the Candy Funhouse.

As chief candy officer, the lucky job seeker makes up to $100,000 a year for eating candy — and lots of it.

Candy Funhouse is one of the largest online candy stores and offers 3,500 different candies on their website. Someone is now needed to lead the company’s confectionery strategy, which includes approving all new confectionery inventory and signing treats with the Chief Candy Officer Stamp of Approval.

Responsibilities also include conducting taste tests, chairing “Candy Board Meetings” and being responsible for “All Things Fun”.

In order to be selected for the job, Candy Funhouse recommends having a fondness for candy. The company said in its job posting that “all you need is a passion for candy, pop culture, and a sweet tooth!”

Job candidates must also be “trendsetters in the candy universe” and able to take “fun” to a new level. Other requirements for the CCO role include enthusiasm, a willingness to try new confectionery, a creative mind and golden taste buds. Candidates should also be a Natural Born Leader and know how to have fun.

This is a remote opportunity with the option to work in Candy Funhouse offices in Toronto or Newark, New Jersey. The position is open to anyone 5 years of age or older residing in North America. No previous experience is required, but people with food allergies are advised not to apply.

The Chief Candy Officer reports to the CEO and is advertised as a part-time or full-time position.

Applicants can apply on the Candy Funhouse website or on LinkedIn by submitting their application by August 31st.

The job comes with an extensive dental plan, Candy Funhouse said.
