Reggie Fils-Aimé is coming out with his own book – Disrupting the Game: From the Bronx to the Top of Nintendo – which takes readers through his journey in advertising to becoming the CEO of Nintendo of America, while providing unique lessons to help readers achieve their own success.

It has now been revealed that Reggie himself will be providing the narration for the HarperCollins audiobook, as confirmed by IGN.

The big man had this to say to IGN regarding the announcement:

“When I started writing [Disrupting the Game], I wanted it to read as if I had written you an in-depth letter with key stories and insights to inspire you to continue on your own journey. Narrating the audio book confirmed that I had achieved my goal – the book is truly my own story, with my own voice. There are no smug segments. Failures are unvarnished. I wanted the book to be authentic…hopefully inspirational. Reading the book aloud brought a smile to my face.”

HarperCollins recently unveiled the final cover art for the book, while also giving a May 3 release date (the book will be out in the UK on June 9 – who needs E3, right?), so there’s not much longer to wait , if you itch. Let Reggie coo words of wisdom in your ears.
