Registrations open for Brighton Marathon 10k

The 10K will take place on a new course on Sunday April 2 ahead of the Brighton Marathon.

New organizers London Marathon Events (LME) are taking registrations after taking over the event in December.

LME honors all seats previously purchased by individuals and charities to use in the BM10K 2023.

Hugh Brasher, LME Event Director said: “The BM10K is a wonderful opportunity for people to take part in what was a fantastic day in Brighton on Sunday 2nd April.

“With just over ten weeks to go until the event, that’s plenty of time to prepare for a 10K even if it’s your first and we’ll be following every step of the way from registration to the finish line support.”

Entries for the 10,000 are £35.

There will be a new course, but exact details have not yet been announced.

Registrations for the marathon are also open and cost £69.99.

LME took over the event in December after previous organizer Grounded Events went into administration.

It confirmed it would not hire former directors Tom Naylor and Tim Hutchings to help run the Brighton Marathon.

The pair came under fire for failing to pay race winners and companies involved in the race.

They also accepted race registrations through November 7, despite filing a notice of hiring administrators on November 1 last year.
