Remembrance Day: Hastings promenade to light up
A promenade is illuminated in red on the day of remembrance.
Bottle Alley in Hastings will be lit up red next week in honor of Remembrance Day.
The lights are on for the weekend of Thursday 10th November to Sunday 13th November.
Hastings’ annual memorial service is held at the War Memorial in Alexandra Park on Sunday.
The Civic Parade will set off from City Hall at 10.35am and march along Queens Road towards the park.
There will be a minute’s silence at 11 a.m.
After the service, wreaths are laid and the citizens’ procession moves back to the town hall.
