Reminder for all Sky TV viewers – a simple hack could save your Christmas Day

A CHRISTMAS crisis! You’ve just sat down to watch a celebratory movie and can’t find the Sky remote.

We’ve all been there and it’s a nightmare.

Even worse when you’ve had a Christmas drink and a hearty lunch – hunting for a remote control is the last thing you want to do.

Luckily your Sky box has a clever trick to help you find your lost remote control.

That means you’ll waste less time searching and more time watching your favorite Christmas movie.

And you might even avoid an argument about who used it last.

All you have to do is activate the remote search function via your Sky box.

The remote will beep loudly for 30 seconds so you can find it quickly.

How to use Find My Remote on Sky Q

Don’t panic if you lost your Sky Q remote control.

First, make sure your house is quiet so you can hear the beep.

Then press the Q button on the front of your Sky Q box.

After a few seconds, your paired Sky Q Touch / Sky Q Voice Remote will beep.

This beep lasts only 30 seconds. So if you don’t find it in that time, you’ll have to restart the process.

If it doesn’t work at all, your Sky Q remote control battery may be dead.

It is also possible that the Sky Q remote is no longer in the building and cannot be reached by the Sky Q box.

But that’s probably not the case on Christmas Eve.

Unless someone threw it away with the wrapping paper…
