PS VR2 pre-orders are now live and the hardware will launch on February 22, 2022.

It costs £529.99 ($549.99) with two controllers, and players must own a PS5 to play.

The headset has also been criticized for the lack of launch games, with the main release being Horizon Call of the Mountain, which will be exclusive to PlayStation.

However, PlayStation has unveiled a number of big-name titles that will be released with the PS VR2.

One of them is the VR version of Resident Evil Village, which offers an even more terrifying way to play the popular horror game.

Moss 1 and 2 have also been announced. Moss was one of the best games on the original PS VR, and Moss 2 recently won VR Game of the Year at The Game Awards.

The recently released version of Among Us for VR was also announced to be available on PS VR2 at launch.

Aside from Call of the Mountain, other PS VR2 games have already been announced at launch.

A new game called Switchback, a spin-off from The Dark Pictures Anthology, will be available exclusively on PS VR2, similar to the spin-off Until Dawn that was included on PlayStation’s first VR headset.

Originally released for Oculus Quest in 2020, Star Wars Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge will also be available at launch.

PS VR2 features a number of improvements over its predecessor, including a larger screen and wider field of view.

Haptic feedback, PlayStation’s innovative rumble system, will also be available in the headset.

Also, some adjustments have been made to increase comfort for those who wear glasses and those suffering from motion sickness.

The original headset sold just 5 million units in its lifetime, with PlayStation claiming its development was more about innovation than sales.
