Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley may have accidentally missed a huge commercial for The Chase on ITV’s daytime program as he chatted with Kate Garraway about Anne Hegerty

Richard Madeley has admitted that Anne Hegerty is not “his favorite” after The Chase’s crushing defeat to a particular celebrity.
In the celebrity version of the popular ITV game show, hosted by Bradley Walsh, four celebrities join the panel to face a Seeker in hopes of bringing in some cash for charities they have chosen.
In the entertainment news section of Good Morning Britain, 65-year-old TV presenter and co-host Kate Garraway heard Vick Hope tell about Shaun Wallace and Anne Hegert’s DNA Journey show.
The governor, 63, discovered she was involved in royalties in the ITV documentary, prompting Richard to add: “She’s not my favorite at the moment.”
He then explained: “I was on The Chase on Saturday and we were almost getting a lot of money for charity and she caught me in the last two seconds. We almost got it, but she caught me.”
But one viewer went wild over the admission, suggesting it could have been a giant hoax.
Taking to Twitter, they wrote: “Richard just streamed his The Chase results on TV.”
However, it’s not clear if Richard is referring to a new tape of the Celebrity Chase Special or the show’s repeat airing over the weekend.
In this installment, Richard appears in an all-star cast for a celebrity special edition of ITV’s The Chase.
Bradley Walsh hosts the show as celebrity contestants EastEnders actor Perry Fenwick, comedian Jenny Eclair, TV presenter Ore Oduba and Good Morning Britain’s Richard battled wits with Chaser Anne in hopes win a potential prize of thousands of pounds.
In another twist on Wednesday’s show, Richard drank hot water during a conversation about National Health Service funding.
The 65-year-old ITV presenter sat with Kate Garraway and was joined by journalist commentators Kevin Maguire and Andrew Pierce on set, as well as Dr Hilary Jones.
Presenter Richard posed the question of “whether the vast site called NHS needs root and branch reform”, Kevin immediately raised the issue.
He replied, “It’s a shame to call it a rampant mega-website. That’s how people started to demonize it and take it down.”
But the ITV presenter later replied that he would put himself “in the spotlight”, telling Kevin: “If someone like me, doesn’t have an agenda, would say, it’s time for them to. We start to see what it’s like. funded, later saying it put the NHS off discussion. “
