In case you haven’t had enough elden ring So far we have good news for you – there’s now a mod that brings the sprawling, intimidating action-RPG into the relatively cramped arenas of tekke 7.
in the a tweet Shared by the fighting game series’ Game Director/Chief Producer himself, Katsuhiro Harada, we see the world of The Lands Between invade the King Of Iron Fist Tournament 7 with a ridiculous mod that even torrent brings to melee combat.
Harada shares the mod – which includes character models for the likes of the Prisoner class, Melina, The Tarnished, and more who snuck into the Tekken engine – noting how “ridiculously well done” the mod is… and asking players to “to stop it”.
“You probably don’t know, but there’s a surprising amount of people who think this is an official mod, or make various misunderstandings and contact us,” he added in another tweet (edited for clarity). “I’m not saying anything for your personal pleasure, but I want you to know that there are people in your community who make noise because of misunderstandings.”
It seems Harada had some issues with people thinking this might be an official mod since Bandai Namco is releasing both Tekken 7 and Elden Ring. However, based on his angry tweets, that’s clearly not the case.
Even seeing a giant lobster in Tekken isn’t really surprising – the character roster had the likes of Panda (a giant panda), Kuma (a big bear), Roger (a big kangaroo), Alex (a big dinosaur), and the development team even came up with the idea of adding a massive floppy salmon to the game in Tekken 3. Stranger things than Elden Ring have happened in the Tekken world.
The mod comes from Twitter users @uwais_alqarani, and you can check out all the other mods here. If you are looking for the Elden RIng mod – The Ultimate Elden Ring Modpack specifically, then click this link instead.
This mod adds 8 new presets for 8 different characters; Melina uses Lidia’s character model, Malenia uses Kunimitsu, Lobster uses Heihachi (brilliant), The Jar uses Gigas, Prisoner uses Lee, Radahn uses Marduk, Ranni uses Kazumi, and Raging Wolf Armor Tarnished uses Kazuya.
Perhaps our favorite part of the mod is that this sentient pot that has become synonymous with the game takes on Gigas’ moveset and thrashes the living crap out of a Tainted. Just like in Elden Ring! To the right?
A top answer on the initial tweet showing the very well done Tekken/Elden Ring mods: “If only there was a game like Tekken but with swords and guns… shit… that would be such a cool game that everyone should play.” ..” The tweet includes an image of another fighting game produced by Bandai Namco, Soul Calibur 6. Apparently everyone is getting a little salty on Twitter this morning.
