Rihanna and A$AP Rocky fans don’t believe the couple has split after claiming their relationship is over

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are trending on social media as fans try to figure out if rumors about the couple’s relationship status are true.

It comes after fashion influencer and writer Louis Pisano tweeted that Rihanna and A$AP “broke up” and claimed the latter was “caught cheating.”

The Barbadian singer is currently expecting her first child with the rapper and is in her third trimester.

Pisano claimed, “Rihanna broke up [A$AP] after she caught him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.

“Amina was responsible for the design of Fenty’s footwear offering and Rihanna is often spotted in her own label’s bespoke shoes,” he added.

The unconfirmed claims have drawn huge reactions from fans of the Fenty Beauty mogul, many of whom were reluctant to believe until official confirmation from both parties.

One person said, “I found out that Rihanna and A$AP have broken up, but I have yet to see a truly valid source to confirm this.”

Another wrote: “I don’t think A$AP Rocky cheated on Rihanna. I refuse to believe he’s that stupid.”

However, several people pointed out that just a few hours ago, Muaddi had posted photos of Rihanna wearing her designs on her Instagram account.

On Thursday night, the designer posted a shot of the Umbrella singer wearing red and white snakeskin Ursina pumps.

Muaddin also posted a photo of Rihanna on April 4, with the pop star wearing her thigh-high black boots.

Many people lamented that if the rumor were true, it would mean there was “no hope” for them.

“Rihanna got cheated on?!?! Yes there is no hope that I will find a good man,” one person tweeted.

A second person added, “Rihanna’s cheating during pregnancy has caused all women to lose hope of finding a faithful man.”

“The whole Rihanna and A$AP thing just goes to show that even if you’re rich, fine, successful. You’re going to chop breakfast [sic]’ wrote a third.

Rapper Drake was also trending on Twitter after hundreds of people posted memes joking about him running to Rihanna’s side to comfort her.

The couple were romantically linked for several months in 2009 but never made their relationship official. They have collaborated on several hugely popular songs including What’s My Name?, Take Care and Work.

At the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, Drake said he’s been “in love” with Rihanna since he was 22, adding, “She’s one of my best friends in the whole world. She is a living, breathing legend in our industry.”

Earlier this week, Rihanna appeared on the cover of US Vogue and opened up about her relationship with A$AP in an interview with the fashion magazine.

She said: “I just feel like I can handle every part of life alongside him.

“People don’t get out of the friend zone with me that easily. It certainly took me a while to get over how much I know him and how much he knows me because we also know how much trouble we can get each other into.”
