Rihanna and Peter Jackson joined the Forbes billionaires list for the first time in 2022.
The pop star and Lord of the Rings director joined other Hollywood stars like Kanye West and Jay-Z in the rankings this year.
The latest list of international billionaires, released Tuesday by U.S. Business Magazine, ranked the couple 1729 and 1929, respectively.
Rihanna is valued at $1.7 billion (£1.4 billion) by Forbes thanks to the success of her cosmetics line Fenty Beauty.
The company, which she co-owns with French luxury retailer LVMH, had sales of more than $550 million (£420 million) in 2020, according to Forbes.
The singer also owns a 30 per cent stake in lingerie line Savage x Fenty, which raked in money in February 2021 with a valuation of $1 billion (£765 million).
The 36-year-old, who is currently expecting her first child with rapper ASAP Rocky, is Barbados’ first billionaire.
Jackson achieved billionaire status in November after selling part of his Weta digital film effects business to Unity Software for $1.6 billion (£1.2 billion) in cash and stock.

The company used actor Andy Serkis’ motion capture to create the on-screen visualization of the villain’s character Gollum.
According to Forbes, Jackson’s world-famous The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit franchises have grossed $6 billion (£4.5 billion) worldwide.
Rapper West, ranked 1513, is valued at $2 billion (£1.5 billion) thanks to his lucrative fashion brands and a multi-year deal to design his sneaker brand Yeezy for Adidas.
His industry mentor and music mogul Jay-Z is valued at $1.4 billion (£1 billion) and is ranked 2076 on the Forbes World Billionaires list.
Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk tops the list at $219 billion (£167 billion), followed by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos at $171 billion (£131 billion).
