Rihanna shared the first video of her first child with Asap Rocky on social media.
The 34-year-old Barbadian singer and businessman, who announced her pregnancy in January, had previously kept information about the birth of her son, supposedly, in May.
In a Tik Tok post, Rihanna recorded her son reaching for her phone and cooing in the back of a car.
She said, “Oh, are you trying to get your mom’s phone? Oh, oh, alas.”
When singers Umbrella and Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, arrived in London in July, they were surrounded by crowds of fans at a barbershop.
The Hollywood power couple was in his headline spot at the Wireless festival.
Rihanna was declared Barbados’ first billionaire by Forbes earlier this year.
Her brand Fenty Beauty, which first launched in 2017, has generated more than $550 million (£420 million) in revenue in 2020, according to Forbes.
She’s also behind a lingerie brand, Fenty X Savage, which was valued at one billion dollars (£765m) in February 2021.
Rihanna is also an actress and has appeared in the 2018 heist film Ocean’s 8, as part of a female-led cast that includes Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett and Anne Hathaway.
Her new musical release, Lift Me Up, comes ahead of her performance at the 2023 Super Bowl’s halftime show.
The song was written for the superhero film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and was nominated for Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice awards.
