Wealth in this country has been distributed increasingly unfairly over the past three decades.
While wages at the bottom of the income scale have fallen in real terms, those at the top have become even richer.
There is now a record 177 British billionaires whose combined wealth increased by more than £50bn to £653bn last year.
Many protect their wealth by becoming non-doms and moving wealth to tax havens.
Not only do they shield their wealth, they pull the drawbridge up behind them. Money that could help spread opportunity is hoarded by a few elites.
The country’s 250 richest families include Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty, who are worth an estimated £730million.
It’s fair to ask how someone who’s never had to worry about paying bills can truly understand the concerns of those who do.
Could it also explain why Mr. Sunak is so reluctant to end Non-Doms? With 14 million people living in poverty, we need a Chancellor who will crack down on injustice and injustice.

The players were taunted and harassed by fans in both semi-finals of the League Two play-offs.
The authorities must act quickly and decisively to prevent minority behavior from spreading further.
This means harsher penalties, including automatic lifetime bans.
The vast majority of fans give credit to the game. Let’s keep it like this.
